Shakira is getting the hard end of the stick as she finds herself blamed for Spain's World Cup exit. The Colombian pop sensation now has tarot reader Mhoni Vidente speaking out about Spain's elimination from the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and Mhoni is pointing the finger at the Hips Don't Lie hitmaker. Shakira has been slapped with an allegation that she "put a curse" on the Spain team in the wake of her separation from Gerard Pique. Shakira is freshly split from 35-year-old Pique following a relationship that lasted 12 years.

Told She's Responsible

Clairvoyant Mhondi gave her World Cup predictions and has so far gotten some spot-on. She claimed that Mexico would be eliminated in the group phase - something that happened - and also spoke of Tata Martino's exit, likewise happening. As to Shakira, she predicted that the singer would move on with a Colombian who lives in Miami and is in sports. On her TV show, Mhondi said: "The one that worked completed was Shakira's curse, a curse that she put on the Spanish team."

"Shakira, the ritual you paid for me worked so that they would not do well," they added.

Says She Made A 'Pact' With The Devil

This isn't the first mention of Shakira from Mhoni. "Yes, the devil's card comes out, and the card of the star, as she must have made this kind of pact to secure a lot of fame and wealth," she has separately stated.

"The magician card too gave her magical powers to earn a lot of money, a lot of fortune, a lot of recognition, a lot of fame," Mhoni continued of Shakira's success in music.

Tax Fraud Case

Shakira has been making headlines outside of her split. In the fall of 2022, she was all over the news for her pending tax fraud trial, one seeing the Spanish government charge her with defrauding the country of over $13 million between 2012 and 2014. In September of this year, the Whenever, Wherever singer denied the charges, telling Elle, “As of today, I owe zero to them.”

Says It's Their 'Style'

She added: “It is well known that the Spanish tax authorities do this often not only with celebrities like me, it also happens unjustly to the regular taxpayer. It’s just their style. But I’m confident that I have enough proof to support my case and that justice will prevail in my favor.”

Shakira is seemingly still living her best life, though. In late November, she was spotted in a wetsuit while enjoying a low-key beach day with her sons in Spain. The 45-year-old shares Milan and Sasha with Gerard.
