Pierce Brosnan just sent his wife Keely Shaye Brosnan some adorable best wishes to celebrate their 21st anniversary together.

Although he hasn't been in the spotlight quite to the extent that he was when he was James Bond (my favorite of them, by the way), Brosnan has remained beloved by a dedicated fanbase in the years since. Not only is he still a charismatic performer, but he's also known to have a kind and gentle reputation and even saved the life of one of his costars during an intimate scene gone wrong.

But if there's one thing that always keeps his fans swooning, it's the heartwarming relationship he has with his wife. He's shown himself to be madly in love and immediately stepped up to support her when some trolls tried to body shame her.

Today, however, they're making a splash for a much happier reason.

On August 5, Brosnan posted this photo on Instagram accompanied by a sweet caption to celebrate their 21st anniversary.

As he wrote in his post, "Happy Anniversary my love Keely, we danced that night and still dance the dance today. I could it all again."

She also posted the same picture, writing, "Happy Anniversary my love."

And he's not saying he could do it all again lightly, as Brosnan was still coping with a tragic loss when he met her.

As The Daily Mail outlined, he had lost his first wife Cassandra Harris to ovarian cancer in 1991.

In a separate post, Brosnan described meeting Kelly for the first time at a party in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico three years later.

Harris's passing was just one of the personal tragedies that put Brosnan in a deep depression at the time.

And according to The Daily Mail, he attributes his escape from that depression to Keely's presence, describing her as having a strength "'I wouldn't be able to live without."

By 2001, he would bring her to his native Ireland so they could marry at Ballintubber Abbey before spending the next three days celebrating at Ashford Castle.

And in the 21 years since, both their love and their family has grown.

Although Brosnan had a child with Harris and adopted two others from her previous relationship, he and Keely would have two sons of their own.

Pictured here is their son, Paris, who has an older brother named Dylan.

Happy anniversary to the lovely couple and may there be many more to come that are just as joyful!
