Good things come for those who wait, but hopefully how long the wait is directly correlates to how good the thing is. In the world of binge-watching, we can sometimes be spoiled by having all of a show available to us immediately, but sometimes, we can't do anything but wait for new episodes to be filmed, edited, and aired.

We might be waiting a little longer than usual for the next season of House Of The Dragon.

'House Of The Dragon' has been a huge success.

I know I was personally a little hesitant about the show following the disaster that was the Game Of Thrones finale, but House Of The Dragon has blown me (and everyone else) out of the water! The characters, the story, the setting — we just can't get enough.

Unfortunately, now that season 1 has ended, it's going to be a bit of a wait until season 2.

When asked about the next season, HBO Max chief Casey Bloys said, "Don’t expect it in 2023, but I think sometime in 2024."

"We’re just starting to put the plan together, and just like last time, there are so many unknowns," Bloys went on.

He was clear about why they won't give an exact date.

"It’s not to be coy or secretive, but you don’t want to say it’s going to be ready on this date, and then you have to move it," he added.

I guess I can wait. I guess.

Season 2 isn't the only thing in the GoT universe we can look forward to — another spin-off following the 'Sea Snake' is coming.

"I try not to comment too much on development, so there’s not a whole lot to say, other than when we find the story that [George R.R Martin] is happy with and we’re happy with, we’ll move forward," Bloys said about that project.

Are you excited for 2024, or do you think you might lose interest by then? Let us know in the comments!
