"You Gotta Do What You Gotta Do"

Celebrities are typically very particular about their hair and makeup. Selena Gomez, on the other hand, is totally fine roughing it when the situation calls for it.

In the video, the pop star dried her rainbow hair wig under a hand dryer inside a restroom. Wearing a silk top paired with jeans, Selena bent down near the toilet so she can dry her bangs under the hand dryer machine.

"You gotta do what you gotta do," she captioned the TikTok.

Fans Got A Little Worried

While it was hilarious to see the multi-millionaire pop star be so down-to-earth, fans couldn't help but be worried about her actions.

Many pointed out that automatic hand dryers in public restrooms can harbor countless germs and bacteria. This is not exactly healthy for someone who has an autoimmune disease.

"The amount of germs coming off those things, please be safe! 😩" one person wrote in the comment section.

"Selena pls didn’t you see that video about the bacterias in this things 😭😭😭," another one said.

Gomez was diagnosed with lupus nephritis when she was in her early 20s. The autoimmune disease makes her vulnerable to getting infections as the treatments and the sickness itself attack the immune system.

In her documentary My Mind & Me, she revealed that she had an episode of lupus myositis rheumatoid and needed another round of treatment to manage her pain.

"I haven't felt it since I was younger." She explained her overwhelming pain in the docu-movie. "In the morning, when I wake up, I immediately start crying because it hurts," she added.

She's Ready To Have Some Fun

Currently, Gomez has been busy working on a new album. She confirmed on The Tonight Show that there will be new music soon. Her latest single My Mind and Me, which talks about her struggles with mental health, was recently released as the soundtrack of her documentary.

"I'm just so used to writing sad girl songs, because I'm good at that, but I'm ready to have some fun," she announced on the show. "And I think people are going to like it."
