Elizabeth Hurley is back in the news for touching reasons as she both looks back on single motherhood and reflects on the "great loves" of her life - the latter includes two men who have passed away. The 57-year-old model and actress is fresh from looking back on both Shane Warne and Steve Bing, this via a high-profile interview with The Times. Liz was, in the past, in relationships with both men and at different times. Bing was the father to Liz's 20-year-old model son Damian. In the feature, the swimwear designer also discussed how the loss of both men had affected her son.

“As a single mother, my life’s mission was to be the best parent I could,” Liz explained. “Always to be there for Damian, getting him up in the morning and there last thing at night. I never went away for a night unless my mother or sister were there to hold the fort. I had childcare, but still I never left him.”

Liz also stated that of "the four great loves of my life, two are dead." Jokingly, she added that she always says "to the other two" to "watch your backs." Warne died from a suspected heart attack earlier this year. Meanwhile, Steve Bing died by suicide in 2020. Damian is said to have never met his biological dad; however, this is not confirmed.

'Still Very Hard'

Hurley has also been in relationships with Four Weddings and a Funeral actor Hugh Grant, plus former husband, billionaire Arun Nayar.

"But yes, it was very hard and it still is very hard. Losing Shane was terrible. It’s taken a long time to sink in,” Liz added.“I honestly kept thinking he’d call and it would turn out to be some big Aussie joke.” The blue-eyed beauty also revealed that “losing Stephen was something else completely.”

Divorcing Nayar

Liz made 2011 headlines for ending her marriage to Nayar, four years after tying the knot. She said that the divorce was "amicable" and that she pays for everything herself. Far more high-profile, though, were the 13 years spent with British actor Hugh - he notably made headlines for cheating on Liz with a prostitute.

Son Damian

Of losing both Shane and Steve, Liz also shared,

“For Damian, his death was more of a mental challenge because he didn’t know him as a person. Arun was his father figure. Arun still calls him son and Damian calls him Dad; Shane was more a fun uncle figure."
