He started plotting his revenge at that moment as the girlfriend was already six months along. He joined her in the hospital during her labor, waited for her to get post-natal care, and left the relationship.

The Story Sounds Fishy - The Redditor Reeks Of Manipulation, Bryan Doesn't Sound Genuine

Redditors dragged the poster for such a drastic decision, although the other half comforted him for his ordeal. They're glad he didn't sign his name as the father on the birth certificate, as that could become a problem if she sues for child support.

The fact that the poster waited to hit her in her vulnerable moment exposes questionable parts of his character. It may account for problems in their relationship, leading to the girlfriend seeking solace elsewhere (although there's no excuse).

Also, the Bryan person coming up to him to "confess" seemed odd but not impossible. However, the OP said he didn't need that as confirmation because the child didn't resemble him. When the girlfriend tried to explain, he refused to listen because he had a copy of messages between her and Bryan and a sex tape.

Several Redditors didn't believe the story (same as me) because it's highly unlikely that someone would reveal such an elaborate plot under the pretext of finding religion.
